Job summary Anexciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to provide administrative/secretarialsupport across the range of AHP services.The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach, be able to work aspart of a team, and have highly developed interpersonal/ written and verbalcommunication skills, as well as being able to prioritise a busy workload tomeet all deadlines.
Main duties of the job To provide effective and confidential administrative supporton a day-to-day basis for the clinical teams and to ensure that their needs arefully met, by working within demanding time constraints, prioritisation of ownworkload, with minimal supervision and demonstrating ability to useinitiative.
The post holder will need to be proactive,flexible and responsive to the changing needs and demands of the organisationand to support the smooth running of the clinical services.

Usedatabase/spread sheets to collect and formulate data on a weekly, monthly,quarterly and annualbasis.

Maintainand update patient caseload on a daily basis, ensuring visits, discharges, andpatient information is accuratelyrecorded.
Where necessary, support themonitoring of service targets/performance standards and alert the Manager to possible breaches.
Arrangevenues for meetings, prepare agendas, compile and issue papers, attendmeetings, take and transcribe minuteswithin agreed timetables.
Organise travel and hotel booking where necessary.
Organiseeducation and training events which will include the preparation of teachingaids and materials using appropriatesoftware package Supervisework experience students and apprentices requiring experience of office work.
