Role Overview: As a Secondary Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to provide additional support to students across various subjects.
Your role will include fostering a positive learning environment, assisting with lesson delivery, and supporting students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to teachers by assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
Support students individually or in small groups to enhance learning and understanding.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to help students thrive.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive interactions among students.
Promote the school's ethos and values both in and out of the classroom.
Requirements: Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people's development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to varying learning needs and work collaboratively as part of a team.
An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
