Secondary Design Engineer (ICP) - P&CFully remote (UK based)Up to £65KResponsibilities:Subordinate to the Protection and Control Engineer, create Single Line Diagrams and Main Control/Protection designs.Conceptual design of AC/DC schematics for contestable and private networks up to 132 kV for electrical protection systemsDeveloping a comprehensive secondary design that encompasses AC/DC, general arrangements, interconnection, and many block diagrams.Creation of Core Sheets, Termination Diagrams, and Cable SchedulesCreation of intricate wiring schematics that panel producers can utilise as a foundation.The process of creating Bills of MaterialsRed/Green markup drawings for secondary design issues that arise on siteCreate a complete set of As Built Secondary Design drawings after site preparation is finished.Creation of common secondary design plans for systems operating at 33, 66, and 132 kVEssential criteria:3-5 years of expertise in Secondary designExperience designing EHV substation projects up to 132kvExperience with UK NGET and DNOFamiliarity with pertinent BSEN, IEC, CIGRE, IEEE, and ENAValid drivers licence in the UKSkilled secondary design schemes using AutoCAD for 33, 66, and 132 kV systems.Desirable criteria:Degree in Electrical & Electronics EngineeringDirect experience working for an ICP or DNO in the UKFamiliarity with AutoCAD electrical work.UK candidates onlyIf you or anyone in your network is interested, please reach out on LinkedIn or send your CV to ******
