Second Line Support Engineer

2nd Line Technician - Lympstone based with occasional travel to Dartmouth (driving license and access to own vehicle is required) SC clearance will be required Talent are partnered with a leading business recruiting a 2nd Line Support Technician to provide IT support.
This role focuses on maintaining service delivery, resolving technical issues, and managing IT equipment.
Key responsibilities: Resolve technical issues to minimise service disruption.
Manage IT equipment (allocation, retrieval, maintenance).
Deploy software and workstation images using tools like Microsoft SCCM.
Investigate and resolve service delivery failures, documenting all fixes via ticketing systems.
Collaborate with team leads on workarounds, fixes, and technology enhancements.
Adhere to security and change management protocols.
Requirements: Experience in desktop support, ideally within a Windows Active Directory environment.
Proficiency in IT deployment tools such as SCCM.
Strong troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
Experience maintaining IT networks in accordance with security protocols.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
