Job Description Ourt Client is seeking a Seat Functions Engineer to join the business on a Contract basis, at their Crewe Campus (Hybrid working).
Reporting to the Functional Manager Rear Seats, the Seat Functions Engineer will be an expansion of Electronic Engineering resource within the Interior Engineering department for Seating Sub Teams.
Technical responsibility for Vehicle Function process within Seating (Definition of electronic logic/functionality within the seat system) Manage and generate new functional concepts from customer use cases Technical definition of seating functions with first logical customer focused concepts.
Function modelling and demonstration through virtual tools (SysML, MATLab, Simulink etc) for demonstration on first prototype seat.
Qualifications / Skills needed The successful applicant will be experienced, ideally within an OEM/Supplier with a degree in Electronics/Software Modelling or with equivalent relevant experience.
