What you can add:The post holder will deliver flu and Covid-19 vaccinations for theTrust, coordinating with Occupational Health.The post holder will be work on site in pop up clinics.This post calls for a motivated individualwith excellent communication skills who is able towork with minimal supervision,using their initiative but working closelywith the Head of Occupational Health and peer vaccinators.
The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the clinicaldelivery of vaccination including following patient group directives andworking within NMC guidelines as a registered nurse.
The flu and Covid-19 nurses will act as a source of expert advice, tosupport the vaccination campaign and enable and facilitate change to delivervaccines effectively within UKHSA standards.To keep accurate and contemporaneous records in accordance with Trustpolicies and procedures.
Ensure that information is available to provide staff with an informedchoice and for obtaining consent prior to delivering the immunisations in linewith Group Directives and Professional Guidelines.
Ensure compliance with themedicines management standards throughout the process including awareness ofcontraindications to vaccination.To provide and seek specialist advice where required in relation tothe influenza vaccination (Head of Occupational Health /UKHSA etc).

Person Specification Experience Essential A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
