Title: SEO Manager Location: Glasgow, Scotland (Hybrid Working) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) We're working with a leading Glasgow-based marketing agency that's known for delivering exceptional results for their clients across a variety of industries.
As their new SEO Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing SEO strategies to drive client success.
What You'll Be Doing: Leading SEO strategies for a diverse client portfolio, focusing on technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimisation.
Conducting in-depth website audits and providing actionable recommendations to improve organic performance.
Driving content strategies by collaborating with the creative and content teams to align with SEO goals.
Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
Staying ahead of the curve with industry trends and algorithm updates, ensuring clients remain competitive.
Managing junior team members, mentoring, and supporting their development.
What We're Looking For: Proven experience in SEO, with a strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimisation, and link-building strategies.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is essential.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Agency experience is a bonus but not a dealbreaker if you've managed multiple campaigns or clients in-house.
