We are currently recruiting for an Air & Ocean Freight Business Development Manager to, generate new business leads, secure new business opportunities and develop pre-existing client accounts.
Our client is a well established global Freight Forwarding group and are looking to continue their growth with the acquisition of a Business Development Manager, working a territory surrounding their Southampton office focusing on Air and Ocean freight services.
The role will require the management of an active sales pipeline focusing on opportunities across the South but you will not be restricted on the territory.
You will be required to identify, develop and secure new opportunities focused on the Air and Sea Freight markets.
The right person will have strong commercial sales experience within those areas and be able to provide solutions to clients through their knowledge of freight & International logistics.
As well as generating revenue through new customers; the BDM will monitor key accounts to establish any further opportunities for growth.
The right candidate will have a hunter mentality; self-motivation and driven.
You will be able to work autonomously and be responsible for your own diary and appointments with new and existing customers, as well as being a confident communicator and passionate about your work.

A salary range between £55,000 - £ 65,000 per annum is achievable for the successful candidate along with additional bonuses and a commission structure.
