As an Scrub Nurse, you will: Participate in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway.
Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance in the operating theatre.
Deliver peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite.
Ensure excellent patient care at all times.
The ideal candidate for the Scrub Nurse role will have: Registration as a General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
A qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri-operative care.
Previous experience in an Ophthalmology Theatre.
If you have experience as a Theatre Nurse, Operating Theatre Practitioner, Surgical Nurse, Ophthalmic Nurse, or Operating Department Practitioner, this role could be perfect for you.
