Oxford Nanopore Technologies is headquartered at the Oxford Science Park outside Oxford, UK, with satellite offices and a commercial presence in many global locations across the US, APAC and Europe.
Oxford Nanopore employs from multiple subject areas including nanopore science, molecular biology and applications, informatics, engineering, electronics, manufacturing and commercialisation.
The management team, led by CEO Dr Gordon Sanghera, has a track record of delivering disruptive technologies to the market.
Oxford Nanopore's sequencing platform is the only technology that offers real-time analysis, in fully scalable formats from pocket to population scale, that can analyse native DNA or RNA and sequence any length of fragment to achieve short to ultra-long read lengths.
We offer real-time nanopore-based DNA/RNA sequencing technology: accessible, easy to use and fully scalable for any requirement.
We are looking for someone to join our Tech Transfer team in a role that involves working within a team tasked with improving and preparing new platforms or updates of existing Oxford Nanopore platforms for release in to production This role involves working in the Tech Transfer team to run the pilot production lines of new sequencing platforms in order to prepare to release these platforms in to production.
This role will also involve running the pilot production lines of established product lines in order to support ongoing work to introduce iterative improvements across the whole range of Oxford Nanopore sequencing platforms.
We'll expect you to have a degree in a suitable scientific subject and to have relevant lab-based skills and experience.
