Science Teacher Responsibilities: Design and develop a science curriculum in line with national and local standards, ensuring it is engaging, age-appropriate, and meets the needs of diverse learners.
Deliver high-quality science instruction using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Design and implement assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students by offering additional support or enrichment opportunities.
Collaborate with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.
Science Teacher Requirements: PGCE in Secondary Science with QTS or other UK-recognised teaching qualification.
Recent GCSE Biology, Physics, and Chemistry teaching experience (within the last 2 years).
Ability to foster curiosity and inspire a love for science in students.
Strong knowledge of the curriculum and effective classroom behaviour management skills.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
