Key Responsibilities : Teach Science to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), focusing on those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a wide range of learning abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed.
Support the holistic development of students, helping them achieve both academic and personal goals.
Collaborate closely with a team of SEN specialists and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies.
Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
Qualifications and Experience : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
A genuine passion for teaching Science and commitment to making a difference in students' lives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
