Science Teacher Job, pay £160-260 a day (MPS/UPS), January 2025 start, 1 term Science Teacher - KS3 and KS4 January 2025 Start 1-term contract, with the opportunity to go permanent Wolverhampton-based Secondary school - Ofsted rated 'Good' 5 days a week We are working in partnership with a Secondary school in Wolverhampton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team in January 2025.
This is a full-time and long-term role for the term with the potential of going permanent.
You will have an opportunity to work in a community-led, inclusive Secondary School in Wolverhampton, who have excellent and supportive SLT and HOD.
They have brilliant facilities, great staff morale and have recently received a 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report.
Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
You must be a qualified teacher (ECTs are welcome to apply) and have recent experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Your new role Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.
Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips.
What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field.
Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
