Full-time Science Teacher in Derbyshire We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join an amazing team at a school in Derbyshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-level classes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching science at the secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
