Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Implement personalised learning plans to meet individual student needs.
Support the emotional and social development of students.
Liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives that promote student well-being.
Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience teaching SEND students is desirable, but not essential.
Strong understanding of SEND teaching strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, parents, and staff.
Patience, empathy, and a dedication to supporting children with diverse needs.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is required.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
