Job Title : KS5 Chemistry TeacherLocation : Birmingham, UKJob Type : Full-Time, ongoingSalary : £120 - £260About the Role: Hays Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will specialise in teaching Key Stage 5 (KS5) and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant UK-based teaching experience. Key Responsibilities: You will plan and deliver engaging and challenging chemistry lessons to KS5 students, preparing them for A-level examinations.
You will contribute to the development and enhancement of the chemistry curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
You will assess and monitor student progress, providing detailed feedback to support their academic development.
You will create and maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
You will engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest educational practices and advancements in chemistry.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, teaching strategies, and best practices.
