Job summary Previous Applicants Please Not Apply PART TIME POST - 21 HOURS A WEEK ALL YEAR ROUND PERMANENT We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our school nursing team as an administrator.
You will provide day to day clerical support to the School Nursing Service across Stockport, including uploading and scanning of documents to patient electronic records and general office duties You must possess excellent communication and IT skills and be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the service.
Previous experience in a health care setting is desirable although not essential and you must demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
Main duties of the job To provide clerical support to the School Nursing Service across Stockport.The post holder will be familiar with a full range of clerical tasks to provide support to the clinical team.The post holder will require IT Skills using a range of systems including Word and Excel.The work involves working with sensitive and confidential patient information on electronic child and adult health records systems.

Person Specification Education and qualifications Essential English and Maths GCSE, O Level or A-C above or equivalent qualifications NVQ level 2 or above in a relevant subject such as customer care, IT or business administration Desirable Administrative qualifications eg RSA, Keyboard skills, ECDL knowledge Essential Knowledge of a range of secretarial/administrative procedures Desirable Knowledge of NHS Systems Emis, PAS, Synergy, Experience Essential Previous clerical/administrative experience General Office Duties Desirable Experience of working in a Health Care Setting Experience working with general public Customer Care Skills and abilities Essential Excellent communication skills face to face and on the telephone Computer skills, including word, excel, power point, data inputting and scanning Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and accuracy, attention to detail Able to work on own initiative without constant supervision Ability to organise and prioritise own workload Team Player
