School Nurse

School Nurse Near Sevenoaks Nurse Seekers are working alongside a well-established School located in the Kent countryside close to Sevenoaks.
The School are seeking a Registered Nurse to join their medical team and contribute in providing the best levels of care for their students.
The successful candidate will be employed by the School on a permanent basis and the working hours will be Monday to Friday, School hours (8 hour shifts) and Term Time only.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include overseeing the overall health and wellbeing provision during the School day.
This will involve the provision of physical, mental health and pastoral care to ensure pupils needs are taken care of.
Pupils at the School range from 4-19 years old and many of them have complex needs including learning disabilities So the successful School Nurse should either have an understanding of learning disabilities or have a willingness to learn and develop this side of their Nursing skills.
Full training is available for Nurses coming from different settings and the School can offer career progression opportunities along with a very competitive salary which is dependent on experience.
