The RoleThe post holder is responsible for assisting the school nurse team in providing health care, health education and support to children and young people with physical and learning disabilities and associated severe and complex health care needs.NHS LanarkshireHave you always wanted to work with NHS Lanarkshire?

NHS Lanarkshire is comprised of Acute Services (which currently provide hospital based services over 3 main sites), Corporate & Property & Support Services, North and South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships which provide integrated primary healthcare and social care services to local communities and surrounding areas.What we'll need you to bringSVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.Ability to work unsupervised.To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.Working knowledge of basic information technologyIt would be great if you also haveExperience working in a child care environmentExperience working with children who have complex health care needsExperience working with individuals with complex health care concernsExpert clinical practiceKnowledge of locality and national policy within the specialityEvidence of both personal and team research and auditAnalytical and judgement skillsSkilled in establishing and maintaining relationshipsFlexible and adaptable in responding to service needs within a rapidly changing environmentAbility to carry clinical and non-clinical equipment e.g.
