We are looking for a dedicated School Mentor to work in an alternative provision, guiding students through both academic and personal growth as they navigate their educational journey.
Job Description: As a School Mentor, you will provide students with individualised support, helping them set and achieve personal, academic, and social goals.
You will act as a role model, encouraging positive behaviors and helping students develop essential life skills, resilience, and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities: Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
Work one-on-one or in small groups to help students set goals, develop positive habits, and overcome challenges.
Provide guidance on academic skills, including time management, study techniques, and problem-solving.
Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support each student's individual needs.
Facilitate group discussions and activities that promote personal growth and community-building.
Track students' progress and report on their development, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
Attend training sessions and ongoing professional development to remain current on mentoring best practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
