Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for recruitment into our School Nursing Team in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as a Band 5 School/Immunisation Nurse.
The post will be 30 hours per week term time.
Main duties of the job The successful applicant should be committed to team working and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
They will play an integral part in the School Nurse Vaccination programmes that will include the extended nasal FLU programme in secondary schools.
They will support the School Nursing Team working with school aged children and young people in a range of Health Promotion activities in conjunction with the Welsh Government Public Health Agenda.The successful applicant will work as part of a skill mix team.
They may also be expected to cover across the School Nursing Service in Cwm Taf University Health Board during unforeseen circumstances.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
