School Crossing Patrol - Scotter Road / Burn Road

North Lincolnshire Council are seeking to recruit a community spirited individual to provide a school crossing service to children and their parents/guardians. Applicants should have a good understanding of road use and traffic awareness.
You will need to use your judgement of speed and distance to know when it is safe to stop traffic and allow pedestrians to cross the road.
 The presence of a School Crossing Patrol encourages parents and children to walk to school, giving environmental and health benefits, in addition to improving safety on the site.Duty times cover the period before school opens in the morning and the period after the school closes in the afternoon. This post is term-time only. The times on patrol are:Morning - 8.15am to 9amAfternoon - 3.05pm to 3.50pmGood verbal communication skills are essential.See attached job description and employee specification for more details.Please contact Dave Wilson on 07717 587463 for further information.
