School Caretaker

Im currently working with a college in Cambridge who are looking for a Caretaker to work on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role is on a shift basis, with a mixture of day and late shifts with one day working at the weekend required every two weeks.
Typical duties would include: Site security for the building, locking and unlocking at the required times and monitoring for any breaches.
Moving furniture and equipment as required Daily cleaning duties Perform all tasks in compliance with health and safety legislation and school procedures.
Handling deliveries and distributing them around the college.
The successful candidate: Excellent communication skills Well organised with a high level of attention to detail.
Able to cope with varied situations and to prioritise workload where required.
Positive and proactive approach to work.
Previous experience working in a caretaker or porter role would be beneficial, but isnt essential.
