Key Responsibilities: - Carry out general maintenance and repairs within the school premises - Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the school buildings, including classrooms, corridors, and facilities - Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal - Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate authorities - Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times Requirements: - Previous experience in caretaking, cleaning, or facilities management roles - Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently - Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively - Knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures - Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) As a School Caretaker and Cleaner working on supply for New Directions Education, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors.
