SCADA Engineer Reading, Berkshire Up to £60,000 (DOE) Benefits: Discretionary annual bonus.

We are looking to recruit a SCADA Engineer, who will work in close collaboration with a variety of departments, including Estimating, Procurement and Engineering in order to check specific client specifications and to promote relevant quotes.
Operationally the successful candidate will review the plans and drawings submitted by vendors and Engineers of Record.
Responsibilities of the SCADA Engineer: Provide technical commentary on provided specifications and Scope of Work.
Take an active role supporting the troubleshooting efforts by the operations team.
Manage the 3rd party SCADA vendors by offering the right support to the project team.
Attend a variety of training sessions and seminars by equipment manufacturers.
Work in collaboration with the construction teams amidst the SCADA commissioning phase and the performance teams during the plant performance testing.
Communicate and work in conjunction with with a variety of vendors to streamline processes.
What we are looking for in the SCADA Engineer: Relevant engineering qualification with previous experience in a similar role.
Ability to navigate HMIs for a variety of suppliers to perform tasks such as troubleshooting or data collection.
Strong ability to build rapport and relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, whilst working with the upmost professionalism.
Happy working in a fast-paced environment whilst being able to multitask and prioritise tasks and projects.
Experienced across packages such as AutoDesk Construction Cloud, MS Visio and MS Teams.
Have an understanding of equipment which is commonly used in Solar, HV and Battery Energy Storage System industries.
