As SAP Performance Engineer you will be part of SAP Platform team contributing towards making the system more performant, resilient and optimised.
You will be playing key role in sizing the SAP infrastructure, optimising SAP solutions, reviewing design for performance, and being part of SAP APM monitoring solution and various other facets for new and existing SAP systems.
As SAP Performance Engineer, you will sit within a growing SAP Platform team, working at the heart of our IT estate on applications supporting our core business across Banking, Savings and Accounting functions.

What you'll be doing As Performance Engineer, you will be involved in NFR creation, conducting performance risk analysis, executing POCs and conducting technical triage.
You would be expected to contribute towards making the system performant and resilient.
Evaluate the existing IT infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance SAP system performance.
You would need to collaborate with senior management and business stakeholders to understand the organization's SAP infrastructure needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess server capacity requirements for SAP systems.
Develop and maintain server capacity models to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Monitor SAP system performance and recommend adjustments based on server capacity analysis.
Utilize and configure SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring, incident management, Focused Insights, CHARM (Change Request Management) and ITSM (IT Service Management).
You would be responsible for maintaining APM tools on SAP like Dynatrace with Power connect, create dashboard based on business plans, report on usage trends and forecast to senior management and platform owners.
About you Experience of Performance Engineering activities and producing relevant artefacts.
Proven experience working on SAP Capacity Modelling, sap sizing reports and tools to estimate hardware requirements based on current system configuration and future workload.
Experience with capacity planning tools like Helix Capacity Optimization, APM tools like Solman, Dynatrace with Power connect and reporting tools like Power BI Hands on experience of creating dashboard on Power BI In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure, storage systems, network design, virtualization considering factors such as performance, scalability, availability, and security.
Strong experience in SAP administration and BASIS related activities such as configuration, installation, performance tuning analysis and troubleshooting of sap banking applications.
Solid understanding of SAP workload types such as batch jobs, dialog transactions, Web services and RFC so that it helps in identifying resource consumption patterns.
