Job Description Summary SAP Finance Consultant accountable for implementing Technical changes to the SAP system based on business requirements to ensure compliance with all financial and Sarbannes Oxley requirements.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Provide Technical SAP support/advice/guidance (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Planning & Analysis) to the finance team.
Be the focal for all aspects of SoX and other Financial Audit related activities from an SAP Wales perspective.
Work on opportunities to eliminate waste, simplify process and implement fixes within SAP FICO Review existing designs for all critical and major processes including interfaces to other systems Review defects and work with internal controllership teams and business teams to come up with Remediation plans.
Support discussions (Technical and functional) with internal and external audit teams.
Provide various data extract and artifacts from SAP to the auditors on need basis.
Deliver Projects on time and on budget Role Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with substantial Technical experience in the SAP Finance Module Experience within a multinational business including experience of US GAAP and SOx Prior Experience of working on SOD (Segregation of Duty conflict) removal and providing best practices on how to align various finance functions to meet required controls Strong communication skills, with the ability to have a detailed conversation with finance team functionally and transform these into technical requirements.
Experience in Implementing technical requirements in SAP through working with ABAP teams for any customisation efforts.
Experience with user access, roles & responsibilities management in SAP FI Prior experience of working with auditors internal at advance levels and external on SAP financial controls, best practices and implementation of such controls.
Strong Project Management Skills Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget Desired Characteristics Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA etc.)
