We are looking for a Sample Banking Technician to join our Technical Service team.
Title: Sample Banking Technician Salary: £25,207 per annum (pro-rated based off weekly hours and duration of contract, circa. £13.85 per hour) Contract: Fixed term (9 months with the possibility of being extended to 12 months) Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week Location: Anthony Nolan Laboratories, Hampstead, London Job Summary: Key responsibilities: Complete training in use of databases and matrices to analyse data for samples and store this correctlyUse sample data to identify samples for removalUse sample data to identify samples to be movedOrganise samples in an effective manner for use by scientistsLiaise with members of the team on the project and develop skills such as reporting to track your workEssential attributes: Experience in an accredited laboratoryA passion for the mission of Anthony NolanRespect and value of the clinical samples being handledAn openness to training in new workflowsBeing attentive and thorough with your workBeing conscious of your time and making decisions to ensure a flow to the projectWorking well with othersUsing systems to process data and save backupsBringing a friendly and considerate approach to your work with othersRelease your remarkable, join our team and give someone another chance to live.
