Salesforce Software Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the IT sector, is seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.
This permanent role is integral to ensuring seamless, intuitive customer journeys by building and maintaining Salesforce and its associated integrations.
Key Responsibilities: Implement the software development life cycle: build, maintain, test, deliver, release, and document user-friendly and customer-centric software solutions.
Deliver to standards: understand, adhere to, and apply defined technical and process standards, ensuring effective risk management and data protection.
Provide integrated solutions: ensure solutions are user-focused, strategically aligned, and effectively integrated across multiple teams and platforms.
Engage stakeholders: collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, propose solutions, and ensure desired outcomes.
Build and transfer skills and knowledge: develop personal skills and expertise, and assist junior Software Engineers in developing their skills and knowledge.
Collaborate within and across teams: work effectively with others across varying areas of expertise to achieve required results.
Job Requirements: Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM).
Practical experience configuring Salesforce (coded and declarative).
Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including security model (permissions and sharing).
Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
Experience with integrating third-party applications using REST APIs and middleware.
