SALES & PURCHASE ORDER PROCESSING MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Sales Order Processing Clerk to join our team.
We are looking for a dynamic, responsible, and results-driven individual to contribute to our success in the interior design industry.
WORKING PATTERN: Working Remotely 3 days a week from Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional amendments.
Occasional visits to the showroom to cover Holiday and Sickness leave.
Closed on Christmas and Bank Holidays.
ABOUT YOU: To thrive in this role, you should possess strong administrative and customer care skills, coupled with a keen interest in interior furnishing fabrics.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Fully experienced in using the SAGE 200 system.
Exceptional communicator with superb telephone skills.
Presentable and professional with a 'can-do' attitude.
Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly and adaptable to the varying needs of clients.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in Italian and French is an advantage.
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales Director, your responsibilities will include: Taking phone calls from clients and addressing their requests.
Contacting suppliers to check stock levels and making reservations.
Confirming stock availability with clients for their reservations and lead times.
Raising pro forma invoices in the SAGE system when orders are received, and sending these to clients.
Converting pro forma invoices to orders upon payment and placing orders with suppliers.
Tracking consignments from suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Following up with carriers on late or held consignments.
Arranging deliveries of received orders to clients.
Raising and sending VAT invoices to clients upon completion of deliveries.
Checking and entering Purchase invoices into The Sage Purchase Ledger.
Updating and processing account lists and new account applications.
Creating and updating Stock Codes in The Sage Stock records.
Assisting in showroom operations and sampling when requested.
WHAT WE OFFER: Salary: (depending on experience).
Holiday & bank Holidays pro rata for the 3 day week.
