Location: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:15am to 4:40pm and Friday 8:15 to 3:55pm, total of 38 hours a week Salary: £26,496 Location: Sherburn Are you a detail-oriented, driven individual with a knack for building strong customer relationships and ensuring projects run smoothly?
Were recruiting a Sales & Project Coordinator to support our clients mission of delivering exceptional service and managing key accounts.
This role will include a dynamic mix of customer service, project tracking, CRM management, and sales support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, multi-faceted role.
Key Responsibilities: Relationship Building: Connect with Architects, Main Contractors, and Engineers through calls and emails to source essential project information and build rapport.
CRM Management: Update Salesforce with critical project details, ensuring team members and management have up-to-date visibility of project statuses.
Project Discovery: Identify new projects in their early stages, set them up in Salesforce, and promptly notify relevant Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
Customer Assistance: Support customers, both new and existing, by handling inquiries via phone and email, creating quotations with precision, and ensuring their needs are met with timely responses.
Sales Support: Work closely with Area Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to optimize sales and secure orders.
Project Tracking: Actively track ongoing projects, following up on quotations and gathering vital information to enhance forecasting accuracy.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with technical, customer service, and accounts departments to ensure smooth project execution and accurate order processing.
Order Negotiation: Engage confidently with customers to negotiate and secure orders, maintaining contribution targets.
Ongoing Learning: Participate in training to stay proficient in preparing quotes and handling steel specifications, providing cover when needed.
Ideal Candidate Attributes: Confident communicator, able to introduce yourself as a representative to prospective clients.
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage self-set tasks.
Skilled in gathering and analyzing data to support effective project tracking and sales forecasting.
Team-oriented, ready to support and coordinate with both internal teams and external partners.
