Working Hours 37.5 per week mainly between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday Description We seek an experienced B2B salesperson to join our team based at our depot in the Titanic Quarter in Belfast.
You will be the lead salesperson reporting to the Business Development Manager and working closely with our customer service/sales support and management team to drive new sales and reach new markets.
Our Company: Postal Group provide innovative and cost saving mailing solutions to over 2000 private business and public sector clients across Northern Ireland including charities, health centres, solicitors and schools.
We hold contracts with the NI Health and Social Care Trusts and facilities and many NI councils, as well as with utility companies and banks.
Whether our clients wish to set up daily mail collections from their office, or they are planning ad hoc or regular bulk mailings such as a local door to door drop or sending magazines worldwide, we have the solution at our mailing house and depot.
We have machines to print, fold and fill letters to envelopes or to polywrap magazines and brochures, we can also handfill and pack items ready for delivery.
Our postal solution removes the need for an expensive franking machine, and for the past three years we have grown a secure document delivery network within NI.
We have been providing postal services for over 35 years and have very positive working relationships with our clients.
Experience of selling within B2B especially in print, postage, mail fulfilment or direct mailing would be advantageous, but full training on our products and services will be provided.
You will be expected to research target markets, develop a marketing strategy and update/create marketing materials including social media content.
You will make approaches to new clients and finalise sales/contracts as well as participate in sales campaigns with current customers.
This will include email marketing, direct mail campaigns, social media activity, phone calls and visits to potential and current clients; making presentations at networking or other events, and could involve assisting in the writing of tenders and proposals.
By offering genuinely cost saving and useful products we have long standing positive relationships with our clients and low customer churn.
There is a lot of interest in our services and this role offers a great opportunity to work with an expanding and growing business as well as a dedicated and ambitious team.
You would be joining us just as we have added new products to our portfolio, and you would be expected to contribute to a solutions-based approach for our customers.
You will work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for customers, ensuring realistic expectations from the outset.

You will be supported by the Business Development Manager and senior management team.
You will work closely with three customer service/account management staff.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range: £28,000 to £35,000 dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities: Identify, profile and follow up on new business opportunities in target markets including print and marketing industry, healthcare, education, construction, SMEs, finance industries and charities.
Build business relationships to develop long term contract business and expand internal sales.
Introduce prospects to company services through meetings, presentations and business events.
Contribute to writing marketing materials, social media/website content, proposals and contract documentation to secure new business.
Ensure that high standards of customer care are maintained.
Plan and manage market research activities and assist launch of new products.
Develop personal sales targets, construct sales forecasts and monitor and report on sales achievement.
Any other duties associated with this role, within reason and capability, as determined by the Business Development Manager & CEO.
PERSON SPECIFICATION Access to own transport is required (mileage will be paid) Relevant Knowledge and Experience Required Essential Business to business sales experience with a proven track record of meeting sales targets Evidence of independently achieving results while working on own initiative Developing sales in new business markets.

Desirable Knowledge of the NI and ROI geographical market Knowledge / Experience of the print/postal/mail fulfilment or similar sector Skills and Competencies Required Full UK driving licence and access to own car Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
High level of written and spoken English Proactive, able to work independently achieve results while working on own initiative Strong planning, organisational and time management skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft products including Outlook.
Competent in word processing, spreadsheet (Excel), presentation software, e-mail, CRM systems and the internet.
