Sales Manager

Our clients a young, dynamic engineering company, based in Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join their growing team.
Due tosuccess, they are seeking an additional salesperson, to help increase market awareness.
As a Sales Manager you will be working as part of a small, dedicated team, you will be responsible for searching, developing, and maintaining new key accounts.
The role: The Sales Manager will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining a sales pipeline which will deliver sustainable, profitable growth, tasks will include, but are not limited to: Prospecting & business development activities Arranging and attending on/off-site client meetings Estimating and quoting work from technical CAD data Closing/winning deals Project managing the order through to completion Account management activity to ensure the business are always front of mind Ideal skills & experience: Able to demonstrate knowledge of machining techniques, ideally from a CNC machining background desired, however not essential Strong problem-solving and solutions-driven mindset Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Proven track record in driving sustained, profitable growth Demonstrable success in previous sales roles.
