We are seeking a dynamic a Sales Manager to lead our clients commercial vehicle sales team.This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, build and mentor a team and contribute to the senior leadership team.
The Company We are working with a leading commercial vehicle business, supplying the UK with vehicle sourcing, fleet solutions and light commercial vehicles.
The Role The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy, managing a high performing sales team, and building relationships with key clients and partners.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client accounts, ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to.
As a leader in the function, you'll empower, grow, and mentor your team to meet targets and drive revenue.
Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, expand, and motivate a high performing sales team.
Set clear performance expectations, monitor team progress, and provide ongoing feedback to drive results.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Understand their business needs and challenges, and present tailored solutions to complimentlong-term business growth.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and prepare accurate forecasts.
Provide regular reports on sales progress, market trends, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a continuous flow of leads and opportunities.
Qualify and prioritise leads to ensure efficient use of resources.
Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, aftersales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment between sales objectives and overall business goals.
Sales Training & Development: Identify skill gaps within the team and provide relevant training or development.
What They Are Looking For: Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and managing high-performing teams within the commercial vehicles industry.
Proven track record in commercial vehicle sales or leasing.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability tobuild rapport and influence at all levels.
Data-driven decision-making with the ability to analyse sales metrics anadjust strategies accordingly.
Strong understanding of CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
A Full UK Driving licence.
