You will take charge of a select portfolio of key customers across dynamic sectors such as oil & gas, steel, recycling, water, quarrying and power.

Key Responsibilities of the OEM Sales Manager Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with both customer and company objectives Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service to foster trust and partnership Customer visits, forging relationships and understanding key areas of growth and mid to long term client requirements Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements, providing tailored solutions that align with their long term goals.
Engage in high level negotiations, contract discussions, and bid proposals, particularly with OEMs and major Industrial clients Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on securing projects that expand the company's reach Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to provide insights and strategic recommendations Person Specification To succeed in this role, you will need some technical ability with commercial acumen and relationship building skills.
The ideal candidate will have A background in engineering (degree or equivalent qualification), providing a solid technical foundation to understand and address customer needs effectively Proven experience in medium to long term sales cycles, ideally with involvement in tenders and contract negotiations Strong account management experience particularly with OEMs and high profile industrial clients.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels and building long term trusted partnerships A results orientated mindset, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
