Sales Manager (events) up to £47k + comms Team management Hybrid dog-friendly office food and drinks industry A well-established organization in the events industry is seeking an experienced, results-oriented sales professional to join its food and drinks division as a Sales Manager.
In this role, you'll immerse yourself in a major industry event, becoming a trusted industry authority and building valuable connections.
The position involves managing key accounts, attending networking events, and achieving personal sales targets through both phone and in-person meetings.
You will also have responsibilities in leading some of the team, offering guidance and training to help team members develop professionally and achieve shared goals.
As part of the role, you will work alongside the Show Manager to manage the event floorplan and maintain an accurate CRM and prospect database.
This position requires a sales professional with strong negotiation skills and proven experience in mentorship.
Ideal Candidate At least 5 years of experience in exhibitions, including 2 years in a management role with a focus on team development and driving sales.
A history of success in exhibition and sponsorship sales, consistently meeting and exceeding goals.
Highly organised, with strong time-management skills and a focus on maximizing productivity.
Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
A team-oriented approach, with a positive, proactive, and solutions-driven attitude.
