Responsibilities: Craft and implement a tailored digital ad sales strategy for our email newsletter operations.
Secure new partnerships while enhancing revenue streams from our established clientele.
Elevate the profile of Interesting Engineering in the marketplace, emphasizing our premier email newsletter offerings and other products.
Advocate for the benefits and potential of email newsletters, spotlighting Interesting Engineering's unique, content-rich approach.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless integration of advertising content, striving for both client satisfaction and optimal readership engagement.
Regularly analyze and stay updated with industry trends, ensuring that Interesting Engineering remains at the forefront of digital advertising opportunities.
Requirements: A minimum of 4+ years in digital ad sales with a demonstrated track record of success.
Experience in selling email newsletter products, whether as a standalone item or within a broader sales portfolio.
An extensive network of contacts from leading marketers and agencies, especially in engineering industry.
Ability to manage both short-term and long-term revenue goals.
Skills to compellingly present pitches, negotiate deals, and solidify partnerships.
Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a startup environment.
Willingness to travel for client meetings as necessary.
Exceptional written communication and presentation capabilities.
