Sales Engineer

A bit about the role:
You'll be responsible for developing sales across a full portfolio of products and services.
As a field-based, customer-facing role, you will cover a diverse range of accounts across various process industries, including aerospace, food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, and gas.
Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth within the region.
You'll work closely with representatives, distributors, and value-added resellers to meet financial goals outlined in the sales plan.
There will be a strong emphasis on understanding customer needs, promoting products and services, and taking a leadership role in major customer agreements.
What We're Looking For:
Ideally, you will have an engineering background with exposure to electrical engineering.
You should have a solid understanding of process instrumentation and calibration, along with how these systems function within production environments.
Experience selling into process industries, specifically control instrumentation and automation products, is essential.
Knowledge of measurement techniques and communication protocols is important.
As the role is fully field-based, a full driving license is required.
Familiarity with products related to automation, instrumentation, or calibration would be beneficial.
Previous experience in selling calibration, inspection services, or similar services is an advantage.
NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent qualifications will be an advantage.
