We have an exciting opportunity for an English and French speaking Sales Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.
This role can be based in our offices in Swavesey (UK), France or Vienna.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the design of a solution, ensuring that it is adequately documented and reviewed.
You will create all technical documents and customer facing deliverables related to proposals within the EMEA region.
The role, although based in the UK, will provide sales support to the entire EMEA region so frequent travel will be required and the successful candidate may have the opportunity to work and travel to various Tait locations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities: Working with a sales professional to gather sufficient information and evaluate the technical feasibility of opportunities.
Clearly define all technical risks, preparation of technical write-ups, answering technical enquiries, negotiation support and customer presentations.
Taking responsibility for all aspects of the design of a solution, ensuring that it is adequately documented and reviewed for a smooth hand-over to the Engineering Services team.
Creation of technical documentation for offers including but not limited to system block diagrams, system descriptions and compliance statements as well as other deliverables according to the customers' request.
For large and challenging projects this will be in co-operation with a project manager.
Act as a liaison with technical experts within the EMEA region, global systems engineering team, 3rd party suppliers etc.
for clarification of technical questions and for receiving pricing information.
Provision of technical support to sales professionals, customers and channel partners to develop prospects and relationships and support sales activities.
Participation as a technical expert at special events like trade shows.

Experience & Qualifications Fluent in English and French.
Additional European language skills would be an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
A recognised Qualification such as MSc, MEng, BSc, BEng, HND, HNC, BTEC or equivalent.
