Sales Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineer to join an internationally established automotive manufacturer.
As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the sales development of products from acquisition through to serial production.
Candidates will be educated to degree level within business, engineering, purchasing or procurement.
Further to this the successful candidate will have had 1-2 years experience working in one of those disciplines.
This can include technical sales, engineering, purchasing or procurement.
The main responsibilities of the role are: *Form part of the Acquisition Team and prepare & update the commercial offers *Assist in the preparation of the Business Plans and RFQs *Develop customer relationships across purchasing, engineering and project functions *Monitor the level of customer satisfaction at regular intervals *Get a good understanding of the costing files *Propose and get validated the targeted pricing and the negotiation path *Prepare and negotiate the commercial answers to the customers engineering change requests *Understanding of the Program Business Plan and associated commercial levers *Detailed understanding of piece price, tooling and D&D impact *Follow the Variable Cost Margin of the products *Understanding and commercial management of local economics (inflation, exchange rate) *Understanding and rigorous implementation of the Sales Administration guidelines & processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment etc) If you are looking to join an organisation where you can develop a career path in technical sales or commercial function then please apply now.
