Sales Engineer (Fall Protection / Height Safety Solutions)

A Technical Sales Representative / Sales Specialist is needed to join Safesite, a UK leader in height safety solutions.
This role will see you work within a small team driving sales growth and building key customer relationships within a pioneer of the fall protection / height safety industry.
Founded in 1991, Safesite are one of the oldest and most respected Height Safety specialists in the UK.
Working across virtually every business sector they are pioneers of the industry implementing best practice safety solutions, many of which are products that have been purposely developed.
Due to ongoing expansion they now require an additional Technical Sales Representative / Sales Specialist to spread the word and drive recognition and sales for their fall protection products and services.
As a Sales professional from the engineering, construction, safety solutions or related industries you will work at the forefront of the business, generating and following up on sales opportunities (from both assigned leads and your own proactive outreach).
It goes without saying that you'll attend site visits, prepare quotations, and develop strong relationships, but you'll also work alongside the General Manager imparting ideas and strategies that drive growth beyond individual deals.
Full product training is provided, so although fall protection experience is helpful, it is not essential.
Key Requirements: You should be an ambitious, driven and motivated Sales Representative / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Professional or similar with a CV that demonstrates: The natural ability to communicate with people and build relationships; That you are practically minded (ideally from a construction or engineering background); The ability to interpret technical information and drawings; That you are a team player whilst also happy to work on your own; Creative and strategic thinking skills; A full UK Driving Licence; Willingness to travel (as required for onsite visits for surveys and quotations).
Additional security screening may be required, eg.
DBS check.
