We are a highly respected and established sub-contract engineering company in Scotland with a proven track record of success in manufacturing complex components for a diverse range of sectors, including oil & gas, marine, defence, and aerospace.
As part of our ambitious growth plans for the next five years, we're seeking a talented Technical Sales Engineer to expand our business development capabilities.
In this role, you will: Develop strong relationships with new customers across Scotland, identifying and qualifying business opportunities.
Leverage your technical expertise to showcase our engineering capabilities, not just off-the-shelf products.
Partner with internal teams to understand customer requirements and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated support team who will handle all estimating and quoting duties, allowing you to focus on building relationships and securing sales.
We are looking for someone who: Possesses a minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical sales role, ideally within the Scottish engineering sector.
Has a proven track record of success in selling bespoke components to industrial OEMs.
Enjoys building trust and long-term partnerships with clients.
Has a strong understanding of engineering principles and their application across various industries.
Is a confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
We offer: A competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum.
A lucrative commission structure, with the potential to earn an additional £10,000+ in year one based on generated revenue.
