We are looking for a seasoned Strategic Account Manager based in London to join our Europe Sales team.
This role will be pivotal in driving growth across the UK market by engaging senior to C-suite stakeholders across various industries, with a focus on retail, travel, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors.
The successful candidate will be a consultative seller, experienced in customer loyalty and marketing technology solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities: Identify new sales opportunities for Capillarys platform in key strategic accounts within the UK.
Understand clients business challenges and tailor Capillary's offerings to meet these needs effectively.
Collaborate closely with the UK marketing and business development teams to create and execute targeted campaigns.
Engage with prospects through events, presentations, and product demonstrations to drive sales and build relationships.
Achieve and exceed sales quotas by advancing deals through the pipeline and closing sales in alignment with Capillary's UK market goals.
Meet with at least 2 to 3 unique customers each week to expand relationships and develop new business opportunities.
Generate at least 50% of your sales pipeline independently through proactive outreach and self-driven initiatives.
Market Intelligence: Regularly monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights within the UK market to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product, customer success, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and support Capillary's overall go-to-market strategy.
Thought Leadership: Represent Capillary at industry events, conferences, and webinars as a subject matter expert to enhance brand visibility and position Capillary as a thought leader in loyalty and customer engagement solutions.
Partner with solution delivery teams to plan effective implementation strategies for new clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, ensuring excellent pipeline management and realistic sales forecasting.
Required Skills/Abilities: Proven track record in opening new accounts and selling SaaS solutions to enterprise-level clients, particularly in the UK market.
Exceptional communication skills, adept at storytelling and conveying Capillary's value proposition effectively to diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize sales strategies.
Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage and nurture long-term client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years in sales, with at least 5 years focused on SaaS solutions within the UK market.
Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets, with annual quotas of £2M or more.
Experience in Loyalty, CRM, or Martech solutions is essential.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
