A giant of the luxury beauty industry is looking for a strategic Sales Director to be based in London, with some travel anticipated.
The roleAs Sales Director, you will lead and manage the Sales, Logistics and Training functions of the client's UK branch.
Key responsibilities:Devising and implementing the sales strategy.Contributing to overarching brand strategy.Setting sales targets for the company and setting key performance indicators.Meeting with the sales managers on a monthly basis to assess company performance against KPIs.Presenting sales results to the MD on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.Presenting at conferences and events about the company's products and services.Hosting and presenting to retail partners at quarterly meetings.Implementing sales strategies across the company and monitoring effectiveness.Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.Ensuring an effective sales training programme.Working with MD and his direct reports on budgeting and planning.Negotiating agreements for contracts with customers and ensuring commerciality.Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process.Ensuring the CRM is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage in line with GDPR.Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the Sales function.Leading the Logistics team and overseeing the smooth running of the department.Overall responsibility for the Training team.Devising and implementing training strategy with the National Training Manager.Ensuring that the Sales team is responsible for following up on the training provided.Overseeing performance management of Sales, Logistics and Training teams.Any other duties deemed necessary by management.How you'll dazzle usOur ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience working as a Sales Director or similar role, preferably within the luxury beauty industry. A degree in Business Administration or relevant field is required.
You will have a strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development. With a proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivering outstanding results, you are able to successfully develop and implement sales strategy and plans.
Your in depth understanding and experience of the retail environment, customer relationships and customer experience lifecycles have helped you forge excellent relationships with retail partners. You have a strong understanding of digital sales, and great command of MS Office and CRM.
You have excellent leadership skills, with experience of recruiting, developing and managing Sales teams to inspire outstanding performance. Your sense of ownership and pride in your performance will prove positive to the company's success.
