About YouReporting to Dalriada's MD for Sole Trusteeship & Business Development, the purpose of the role is to provide leadership of Dalriada's UK sales operations by:
Implementing and maintaining successful sales plans for each business area;Helping to achieve and maintain sales pipelines commensurate with the growth plans of the business;Helping to achieve the short and long-term financial goals of the business; andWhere appropriate, develop and market new products/service lines for the business.Essential Skills Proven track record in business development.Internal and external stakeholder management, experience dealing with executive/C-suite level relationships.Proven sales experience.Desirable Pension industry knowledge.Experience of change management programs.Responsibilities & CriteriaResponsible for directing/allocating available resources to conduct sales and business development activities for the business.Overseeing the identification, design, implementation, and evaluation of training & development needs in relation to Dalriada's sales and business development plans.Role-modelling and setting an appropriate tone and culture within the business, consistent with our cultural ethos and principles by monitoring behaviours and ways of working to ensure effective and collaborative working practices internally and externally.Role model expected corporate behaviours and compliance with key corporate duties on reporting and recording time, events, transactions, and other important duties.
Comply at all times with all corporate policies and processes.Collaborating with Dalriada Sales Group (and members thereof) to achieve mutual financial goals in relation to revenue and gross margin.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with business objectives and customer needs.Be the key point of contact for key advisory relationships, which will involve regular face-to-face meetings, nationally particularly in and around London and the South East of England.Lead the key advisory relationships for Dalriada alongside internal key contacts allocated as key account managers.Organise and attend team-to-team and key industry events to raise profile and build relationships for Dalriada.Leading and overseeing the operational effectiveness of the Dalriada sales and business development plans for each business line.Report to and present to Dalriada Sales Group, Dalriada Board, 3173 Board, and 3173 TopCo Board as required, supported by centrally produced information.Leading and overseeing the production and maintenance of sales collateral for each business line (working closely with the Marketing and Communications team including production of content for Dalriada website/social media/press comment).Leading and overseeing:responses to new business enquiries;tender go/no-go evaluations;tender responses;pitch preparation;collation of tender/pitch feedback from vendors; andinternal reviews of tenders/pitches.Establish and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery to clients/prospective clients.Monitor and analyse sales/business development performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities as it will vary from time to time in response to client and business need.
