Our client is a rapidly growing start-up business, established in 2015 with a market first product, currently being utilized in over 2,500 projects.
With massive recent investments, the client has set their sights on global expansion, with a view to expand their foothold in the market.
Due to these ambitious growth plans, they need a Sales Manager, based in the UK to cover the UK and Ireland region, to help them expand their relationships and customer portfolio across the region.
Your role will be to promote the wood coatings to the construction industry, building relationships with industrial applicators, property developers and timber manufacturers.
Job Summary: As the Sales Manager for UK & Ireland, you will be wholly responsible for developing the market in the region.
You will be tasked with creating and nurturing new relationships as well as capitalizing on immediately available opportunities to make an impact.
You will be a pivotal part of the growth project in the coming years, with a view to grow the company's foothold in the UK & Ireland market.
Your experience and qualifications: To thrive in this position, you must be comfortable working independently and navigating in a work environment where two days are seldom the same.
In addition, we imagine that you have: - Intermediate to a senior manager with experience in B2B industrial product sales - Bachelors in business-related or engineering studies or extensive experience in a similar market is also valuable.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience (B2B) - Knowledgeable sales manager and good network with industry applicator manufacturers for wood, coatings, flame retardants.
- Product experience in wood, coatings and or flame retardants - Good track record with establishing sales processes and building a market segment from the ground up.
- Network within CLT manufacturers is an advantage.
- Interest in utilizing modern sales and productivity tools (HubSpot) - Excellent communication skills in English.
Other languages are an advantage.
- Able to travel nationally about 50% to meet customers.
Responsibilities: - Development of new leads in the wood products segments - Identifying key targets in the market and creating relationships.
