Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of primarycare services, including acute consultations, chronic disease management, homevisits (usually 0-1 per day), and reviewing and actioning results.

There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:a.
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled populationb.
The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contractc.
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidanced.
Effective management of long-term conditionse.
Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasksf.
On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor rolesg.
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidanceh.
Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workloadi.
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processj.
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practicek.
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOFl.

Ensure compliance with the appraisal processo.
