At Abbey Road Surgery, an opportunity has arisen to join our friendly practice.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed GP to join our well-established GMS practice in a salaried position.
We offer:
£11,000 per session.
£11,500 per session after successful completion of probationary period.Indemnity paid by practice.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) + 1 week study leave.
After successful completion of probationary period, 7 weeks annual leave (pro rata) + 1 week study leave.SystmOne clinical system.Free onsite parking.Working alongside 3 neighbouring practices as members of an active and supportive PCN with a list size over 9500, CQC rated good.
Main duties of the jobAll applicants should have the following qualifications:
Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate).Be on the NHSE medical performers list.and skills, including:
Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning, and performance, and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date;Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g.
prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;Commitment to life-long learning and audit to ensure evidence-based best practice;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.About usThe surgery is staffed from 8am to 6.45pm Monday-Friday.
We are an enthusiastic friendly practice with over 9500 patients and use the SystmOne clinical system.
Our premises are purpose-built, well-equipped with a friendly working environment and a supportive admin team.
Dedicated and enthusiastic team of 1 full-time GP partner, 2 part-time GP partners, 1 full-time salaried GP, and 1 part-time.
Our practice aim is to deliver a high standard of compassionate care to all our patients of all ages and of a mixed demographic population.
