Job summary Laurel House Surgery is looking for a Salaried GP to joinour existing team, providing 4- 6 sessions per week.
( Wednesday, Thursday and possibly Friday 1 or 2 sessions)Within Laurel House, we currently have 4 Partners, 2Salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 3 PAs, 1 Paramedic, 2 Pharmacists, 4 Practice Nurses, 2HCAs and 1 Phlebotomist - all of whom value collaborative working, support eachother to provide high quality patient care and encourage getting the rightwork-life balance.The practice is a training practice, and we currently have 3STs in addition to medical students.We are high QOF achievers with a list size around 12,700 patients based across 2 sites and work to a high standard to deliver quality care and provide a wide range of enhanced and local services to patients.

Treating patients and prescribing appropriate medication.
Referring or providing advice, as appropriate.
Management of long term conditions.
Conducting consultations (telephone/in person), recording notes in an accurate and timely manner on our clinical system (EMIS).
Provide advice/support to peers and respond to queries from admin staff.
Attend and participate in practice and multidisciplinary meetings.
Develop care plans in consultation with patients.
Contribute to development of protocols/clinical standards and participate in clinical audits Contribute to ongoing development of the practice; identifying opportunities for service development.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Fully qualified GP with GMC registration Inclusion on the NHS England performers list Recent experience of working in general practice in the UK Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multi- disciplinary and skill mixed team environment Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF) Evidence of independent working in General Practice Experience of supporting service change Teaching of GP Reg/ Physician Associate students/Nursing students Evidence of participation in Audit
