This is an exciting role workingwithin South Tandridge PCN member Practices which are Oxted Health Centre,Lingfield Surgery and Pond Tail Surgery.
You will be supported byexperienced clinical lead GPs and will be part of a wider team of GPs, nursesand nurse practitioners and a growing team of allied healthcare professionals.

This role is subject to the ARRS New GP role,therefore all candidates must meet the following criteria: Less than two years postcertification on 1st October 2024.
GPsengaged or employed under this scheme must not have held substantive postswithin GP practices previously: there is some discretion on this point, suchthat, for example, if a GP has undertaken a short-term maternity locum, thisdoes not count as a previous substantive post.
Main duties of the job Anexciting and competitively remunerated permanent salaried GP role has arisenwith the opportunity to be part of the Primary Care family within theestablished DHC GP Federation.
This roleis flexible in terms of sessions and locations and provides a fantasticopportunity to consolidate skills as well as potential opportunities for a portfoliocareer.

Job responsibilities The post-holder's duties will include undertaking all normal GP duties and will be offered the opportunity to lead on an area of interest within the practice.
This will be part of the wide range of health needs in a primary care setting that will ensure the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
The post-holder will undertake a fixed number of clinical sessions for the Practice in accordance with the needs of the practice population and the contractual obligations of the practice.
The Practice has a focus on minimising administrative burden and automate processes, allowing GPs to concentrate on delivering good clinical care.
You will receive mentorship from experienced clinical leads and the federation directors and have the opportunity to pursue specialist interests as part of our wider portfolio of services.

Person SpecificationOther factors Willing and able to attend meetings and training events.
Car driver with current, clean driving licence.
Enthusiastic and 'can do' attitude, willing to participate in developing the services at Pond Tail.
Calm under pressure.
Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have PC skills will be able to use basic Word, Excel and e-mail.
Qualifications A qualified general medical practitioner whose name is included on the General Practitioner Register (Article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Article 2003).
Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
Evidence of CPD activities.
Further postgraduate educational activities in relevant fields.
Evidence of keeping previous mandatory training up to date.
Experience Recent proven previous experience of working within general practice in the UK or equivalent healthcare setting.
Experience of using specific NHS patient databases or a willingness to learn.
Commitment to and experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary and skills mixed team environment.
